Sara joined Bait Al Qanoon in 2025 and supports the Corporate and Commercial department, assisting and advising clients on company formation, corporate governance, and commercial transactions. Sara assists the team with drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, shareholders' agreements, and corporate resolutions. Sara also conducts legal research and prepares advice and opinions to provide practical guidance to clients on corporate compliance and transactional matters.

Experience

• Assisting in advising an economic zone company on the development and implementation of internal corporate policies and governance frameworks, in line with the Omani Code of Corporate Governance and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Assisting with the review and amendment of Memorandum and Articles of Association of joint stock companies operating in the logistics sector, to ensure compliance with the Commercial Companies Law and applicable sector-specific regulatory requirements.
• Assisting in advising on a proposed joint venture between an Omani entity and a Chinese entity, including reviewing and commenting on fixed-return arrangements, advising on exit mechanisms, and supporting risk mitigation analysis from a corporate and commercial perspective.
• Reviewing project and company documents and identifying legal issues as part of a legal due diligence exercise, preparing an issues list summarising the key findings and risks to assist a multinational client with a proposed investment in the Omani mining sector.
