Ali Al Rashdi is the Managing Partner of Bait Al Qanoon and Head of Dispute Resolution. He has practiced before the Omani courts since June 2006 and is licensed to appear before the Supreme Court.

Before co-founding Bait Al Qanoon in 2019, Ali spent over 13 years with two international law firms in Oman. Throughout his career, he has maintained a broad dispute resolution practice, handling disputes across a wide range of sectors and areas of law before the Omani courts and in arbitration. His experience includes commercial, construction, shareholder, employment, maritime and corporate criminal matters.

Within his broader disputes practice, Ali has experience in construction and infrastructure disputes. He acts for employers, developers, contractors, and consultants, and advises on construction contracts, including the Omani Standard Contract for Building and Civil Engineering Works and FIDIC-based contracts.

Ali also has considerable arbitration experience, both as counsel and as an arbitrator. He has been an accredited arbitrator with the GCC Commercial Arbitration Centre since 2016.

He regularly works with international law firms on disputes involving Oman and has experience in the recognition and enforcement of foreign arbitral awards. He also advises companies on internal investigations and represents companies, directors, and senior management in corporate criminal matters.
