Abdullah has eighteen years of experience in litigation and is licensed to appear before the Supreme Court of the Sultanate of Oman. Throughout his career, he has handled a broad range of disputes across several sectors.

His work includes matters relating to foreign investment disputes, shareholder disputes across various types of companies, and issues concerning corporate governance in public joint stock companies, closed joint stock companies, and government owned entities, including matters involving members of their boards of directors. He has also been involved in investigations into complex embezzlement cases within public joint stock companies, as well as in matters related to company liquidation.

In the field of employment disputes, Abdullah is well regarded for his detailed knowledge of Omani labour law. He has acted in several significant matters, including cases involving chief executive officers in both public and closed joint stock companies. His experience in labour disputes also extends across several sectors, including oil and gas, construction, aviation and manufacturing, among other key industries. In addition to dispute work, he advises on employment policies, workplace regulations and the drafting of internal company bylaws and regulations.

Within the integrated tourism complex sector, Abdullah advises some of the leading companies operating in this field in the Sultanate of Oman, including on matters relating to property sales, lease arrangements, service charges and construction related issues.

He also advises on matters relating to free zones and economic zones, including the drafting of usufruct agreements, the review of investor agreements and disputes relating to foreign investment in the Sultanate of Oman.

In the area of construction and infrastructure, Abdullah has represented clients in complex arbitration proceedings and has also brought actions before the courts seeking the annulment of arbitral awards.
